  • 5:00PM - The Regional has concluded and the Sabre Bytes are on their way back to Windsor. Pictures and video will be available soon.

  • 4:43PM - The Regional Finalists - 1503, 1507, and 247
  • 4:40PM - The UL Industrial Safety Award - 1141
  • 4:39PM - The Highest Rookie Seed Award - 2386
  • 4:36PM - The Rookie All-Star Award - 2624

  • 4:12PM - Despite the amazing efforts by the blue alliance, Team 1114, 2056 and 2166 successfully managed to capture the title of 'Greater Toronto Regional Champions'. Awards are coming up soon, stay tuned for winners!
  • 1:53PM - The Sabre Bytes played a tough match but unfortunately were defeated by the number one alliance, consisting of teams 1114, 2056, and 2166. Awards are up next.
  • 1:49PM - The Sabre Bytes are playing their second match in the quarter finals. Good luck team!
  • 1:18PM - The Sabre Bytes played a tough match against Alliance 1, however, did a great job of intercepting 1114. Despite their best efforts, they lost the match.
  • 1:12PM - The first match is about to begin. It's Alliance 1 vs Alliance 8 (The Sabre Bytes.) Good luck guys!
  • 12:12PM - The alliance selection has condluded. The alliances are as follows:
    • Alliance 1 - Teams 1114, 2056, and 2166
    • Alliance 2 - Teams 188, 1310, and 2505
    • Alliance 3 - Teams 1507, 1503, and 247
    • Alliance 4 - Teams 1241, 1565, and 781
    • Alliance 5 - Teams 843, 2200, and 771
    • Alliance 6 - Teams 1334, 2386, and 865
    • Alliance 7 - Teams 176, 1676, and 1053
    • Alliance 8 - Teams 854, 378, and 772
  • 11:48 - The Sabres competed in two matches earlier in the day. During the first match, the Sabre Bytes flipped their robot over, and as a result, lost the match. However, the Sabre Bytes rebounded, winning their second match of the day. Alliance picking is up next. Stand by for updates.
  • 9:54 - The opening ceremonies have concluded. We play our first match in 20 minutes. Good luck Sabres!
  • 8:19AM - We have arrived at the competition site and are currently waiting for the opening ceremonies to commence.

  • 5:17PM - The Woodie Flower's Award - Mrs. Olwen Sigsworth - Team 1547
  • 5:15PM - The Website Award - Team 378
  • 5:13PM - The Judges Award - Team 1244
  • 5:11PM - The Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers Entrepreneurship Award - Team 772. Congratulations Sabres!
  • 5:09PM - The Delphi Driving Tomorrow's Technology Award - Team 2056
  • 5:07PM - The Xerox Creativity Award - Team 854
  • 5:06PM - The Rockwell Automation, Innovation, and Control Award - Team 1565
  • 5:03PM - The Imagery Award - Team 2013
  • 5:01PM - The Autodesk Visualization Award - Team 188
  • 4:57PM - Karen Rosenthal presented the Volunteer of the Year Award. This award went to Roly Anderson.
  • 4:48PM - The awards ceremony is starting. Good luck teams!
  • 4:15PM - Our drive team is currently being interviewed by the Discovery Channel. We'll let you know when you can see this footage.
  • 4:09PM - The Sabre Bytes won their last match of the day. Good job Sabres! The award ceremonies are coming up next.
  • 3:07PM - After a well fought match, the Sabre Bytes lost this match 34 to 32. During the hybrid period, another robot rammed the Sabre Bytes, rendering their arm unusable. Despite this, and having only 2 out of the 3 robots on their alliance running, the Sabre Bytes did a phenomenal job.
  • 1:50PM - We are currently ranked 5th out of 66 teams. Keep up the good work Sabres!
  • 1:45PM - The Sabre Bytes just won their 4th match of the day 52 to 4. Good job Sabres!
  • 1:30PM - The Sabre Bytes have continued to play well, winning their their third match today. They are currently scheduled to be up again in a short while. Stand by for updates.
  • 10:47AM – The Sabre Bytes competed in a very close match, however, despite amazing game play by all persons on the alliance, lost to 1114. Great job Joe! Keep up the great driving!
  • 10:43AM – The Sabre Bytes are up again with teams 1260 and 1244, playing against the blue alliance, consisting of teams 1114, 1312 and 771. Good luck Sabres!
  • 10:03AM – The Sabre Bytes competed in their first match of the day with Teams 188 and 1244. Despite having a broken arm (due to an impact in Hybrid), the Sabre Bytes ran 9 laps, and along with the assistance of the other teams on their alliance, managed to win by a score of 44 to 0. Good job Sabres!
